The motion for the in-game UI was also explored, combining hell-fire embers over epic rock. This was produced in Adobe After Effects.
As much fun as this version was to create, it ultimately ended up on the cutting room floor. This was produced with Autodesk 3DS Max, Pixologic Zbrush and Adobe Photoshop.
